Jordan Ta’amu – University of Mississippi

Ta'amu was Hawaii's Division II Offensive Player of the Year as a senior in high school, but did not receive any FBS offers. So he decided to go to the junior college ranks--enrolling at New Mexico Military Institute. He threw for 3,014 passing yards while tossing in eventually winning Southwest Junior College Football Conference Player of the Year at New Mexico Military Institute (3,014 passing yards, 32 touchdowns; 328 rushing yards, seven touchdowns). Ta'amu was not expected to start for the Rebels in his first year on campus, but took over the reins of the offense for the final five games (115-of-173, 66.5 completion percentage, 1,682 yards, 11 touchdowns, four interceptions in 11 games played).
