D'Andre Swift - Running Back
University of Georgia
Good ol’ fashion film analysis
Good lord this kid is fantastic at football. The Eye Test section is subjective, but that previous piece of analysis is not. Slice em, dice em, Jerry Rice em, there’s nothing this kid cannot perform successfully on a football field.
College production and statistics
Three straight seasons averaging above 6.0 ypc in the SEC is more than enough to show me that you’re good at football. But can you make it at the next level? His 215lb frame says absolutely. Sprinkle in byke-to-byke 28+ catch seasons, a 250-touch junior season and we’ve got the makings of a three-down NFL workhorse with elite, Dalvin Cook-type fantasy upside.
Athleticism and combine measurables.
Not even Nickstradamus could’ve predicted Swift running a sub 4.40 40-yard dash. If you were sitting at the 1.03, or even the 1.02, slyly waiting in the depths to snatch Swift, it’s time to come out of hiding because it ain’t happening. The extra one tenth of a second means nothing in the real world. A 4.39 guy compared to a 4.40 guy makes zero difference, except when it comes to HYPE. That 4.39 number solidifies that the hype around Swift locks him securely into every rookie draft’s top selection.
Full-Length Game Film
Couldn’t have asked for a better landing spot for the Georgia Bulldog back. After a swing and miss with their running back core plagued Arrowhead in 2019, Swift will be given every opportunity to run away with the featured back role in one of the most enviable fantasy football positions in all of football.
